Within a few minutes walk from our premisesthere is a memorial of Otto Wolf, the hero of a tragic story, which took place from the summer of 1942 to April 1945.
During this period the Jewish Wolf family were hiding with the help of people living in Tršice, alternately in a forest shelter and the houses of the locals. Otto Wolf, the youngest member of the family, described their life in his diary. This later became a document about the fates of the Jewish family and the remarkable solidarity of ordinary people. The diary is comparable to the world-famous Diary of Anne Frank.
